RJ Romain Jerome divulges the Deep Blue Octopus, a marine watch enlivened by the strange cephalopod. We investigate this new odd creation from the Geneva-based maker.

With eight arms bearing attractions cups, disguising skin, extraordinary appearance, aware look… Octopuses have enthralled and roused humankind since we previously investigated the seas. RJ Romain Jerome is devoting its most recent creation to this creature both interesting and rich in symbolism.

The RJ Romain Jerome Deep Blue Octopus includes a 47mm dark PVD steel replicating the two-sided balance of the tentacled ocean monster and consolidating a few of its aesthetical highlights. The inside of the elastic lash highlights cool octopus-like pull cups. The number 8 is utilized across numerous highlights (number of screws, water impervious to 888 feet, etc.)

Another detail enlivened by the ocean is the dial that is finished to remind an imp test (their hard shell/skeletal construction). Its alleviation has been loaded up with glowing material. In its middle, a dark DLC-covered copper Octopus is applied.

The crown at 9 o’clock permits to change the time or wind the programmed development; the second one of 3 o’clock is utilized to pivot the inside unidirectional turning bezel (in sapphire) to monitor passed time.
