Prior to Baselworld 2018, Anonimo, the Italian brand established on the foundations of what was left of Panerai when Richemont took it over, introduced another, more easygoing watch: the Epurato . As shown by its name, the brand needed to return to the basics, with a cleaner, marginally dressier and simpler on-the-wrist watch. Or maybe effectively got, today two new forms, with DLC-covered cases and sand-shaded accents are presented, under the name Anonimo Epurato Safari.
Anonimo is really Italian. In its feeling of configuration as well as in its DNA. It was made from the remains of another Italian brand. In 1997, Richemont purchased Panerai and chose to migrate the creation from Florence to Neuchatel. However, a portion of the ex-representatives didn’t move and they headed the formation of a brand named Anonimo (unknown in Italian). The primary spotlight was on jumping watches, planned by the military architect Dino Zei, who was in charge of Panerai for more than 20 years. Strong, huge, military-inspired… But that has changed as of late with the introduction of the Anonimo Epurato.
This new piece, the Anonimo Epurato (first appeared in bronze) , is a restrained, cleaner and more exquisite interpretation of the brand’s DNA. While it feels abnormally recognizable, it has a specific Italian allure, a feeling of style that blends easygoing quality and complexity. With no chronograph capacities or jump bezel, the Epurato is unadulterated (epurato is the Italian for cleansed) and has a more modest case size of 42mm. A portion of the mark configuration codes have been incorporated however, for example, the pad formed case and the three-sided design of the dial (this reviews the “A” of Anonimo with markers at 12:00, 4:00 and 8:00).
The pad formed instance of the new Anonimo Epurato Safari is offered in dark DLC covered hardened steel (note: the Epurato was first dispatched in bronze, later followed by a whole steel assortment with numerous dial colours). Playing on the Safari topic, this dim case appears differently in relation to the sand-shaded kudu calfskin tie. The remainder of the watch stays unaltered, with an all around ensured case and a programmed Sellita SW 200-1 accountable for time indications.
Two forms of the Anonimo Epurato Safari will be accessible. The first shows an old style matte dark dial with printed files and numerals, in dull beige – a shading additionally found on the hands. The subsequent variant has a splendid sand-hued dial, this time with applied records and numerals. One energetic and one stylish version.
The Anonimo Epurato Safari watches will be valued at CHF 2,490 (for the two forms) and are as of now accessible on the brand’s e-shop . More subtleties on www.anonimo.com .
